Costs of production aside, what is the best and most efficient way of generating RF with only the lava?Are you looking for long term or short term efficiency? At one block per second with an average of 2.5 mB per block. It is quite ridiculous though.Thankfully for modpack developers, there's a config option to disable creation of lava in Ender IO tanks.To me, that's more a problem with the lava creation methods than with the Stirling Gen.
As with all other Extra Utilities generators, this generator shows the burn time and RF/t production in the GUI, and also keeps its charge level when broken and replaced.

(that 400 blocks and over 6 minutes per bucket)It is the only way of lava generation in Ender IO and was designed 2 years ago when the "standard cost" for making lava was basically "place a machine down".Also, there is no way in Ender IO to automate getting placable blocks.Even if Ender IO can't make placeable blocks, it's not hard to get them - in fact, it's probably possible in vanilla using some kind of bizarre Rupe Goldberg machine - and it'll almost always be in packs where it can get them.
With an Octadic Capacitor, it produces 1,066,640 RF @ 80RF/t. This seems kind of high. Note []. Lava Fabricator is a block added by the MineFactory Reloaded mod. With a Double-Layer Capacitor, it produces 533,320 RF @ 40RF/t.
After it warms up, it will generate net lava.
