By the number I was expecting a QWERTY keyboard Would be better to take the lead than follow. So far, it just always seems like it's asking too much of the hardware it's on.

That's something to be seen...HMD want to avoid mistakes nokia did with the former ovi store and their own platform, this time HMD leaves that hard work to Google so they can reduce costs and move fast by releasing products ahead of competitors. This thread is locked.

If you’re not careful the likes of Jio phone and others will start to overtake you. Just look at the Feature phone innovation before smartphones such as sliding keyboards, compressed data usage apps, etc.

From my point of view, this would be ideal for people who like to have a "real" phone keyboard, appreciate the size and operation of feature phones and still communicate via smartphone apps like WhatsApp or Facebook. Both of them surprised us by featuring the more advanced Series 40 platform, and since there’s practically no way for Nokia to go lower on the price, this means that today is a good day to officially announce the passing of Series 30. messaging - have a keyboard at 90 degrees at the side (longest side) or maybe a slide out keyboard - not miniature buttons that can’t be read or used). In 2014, Microsoft acquired Nokia's mobile phones business and later discontinued S30 in favor of Series 30+.
Maybe one day I would have thought that under the retro-phone area there would be scope for a phone like you describe. I've used KaiOS, and it's probably more a problem with the phone itself, but I've yet to see it implemented nicely. It is used in various models of the phones around 100 models use this. Why support it with 8110 4g and then go back to the updateless feature os of the nokia 3310 3g?
4g and 2g no 3g which is actually quite sensible. And the phone is now powered by Nokia Series 30+ than the old retro phone. Ideally with 4g and a better camera.
