It takes a while to get going, so anyone watching this will need a degree of patience to reach the action scenes. When Rambo refuses, Trautman decides to go alone -- but, while trying to help the mujahideen, Trautman is captured by a ruthless Russian colonel (Marc de Jonge) who submits him to torture. Bullets and bombs fly in all directions as the indestructible Rambo quickly works his way through a large camp of Soviet soldiers. The film is basically about Rambo going into Afghanistan to rescue his former commanding officer and along the way helps afghan rebels fight Russian invaders But SS movies ran like crazy in Asia. Rambo shows some crazy survival techniques here such as when he gets impaled by a shard of wood, he breaks part of it off, and then later pushes the rest out of his side.
