Its extremely average overall.The best Chinese food around. However, the biggest drawback would be that you have to finish everything you ordered or they would charge you extra for each piece that is left.
When we arrived, we were seated fairly quickly and had our drink orders taken. Called in to go shrimp scallops in brown sauce NOT spicy, get there have to wait, get food go home get comfy get plate ready ...its Spicy, I cant eat spicy food. Never have I experienced such superb service at a Chinese take away restaurant. I could have chose anywhere for NYE dinner and I chose your place and am sadly disappointed...the guy at the register is extremely non sociable and not friendly even assured me when I doubled checked on phone twice my order was right. The dumplings are pretty decent. Panda's Den is absolutely exceptional. Be the firsts to join! As a Charlotte native, I remember coming here a few times growing up, but the food was meh. With family in the west coast I've been addicted to "boiling crab" & "crab hut." Oh my god I've been to Charlotte for several months and this is the ONLY one has great perfect Chinese food. Not the best in the world but solid. Their prices and service are great also.I've been going here since I was a kid and go out of my way whenever I am in the area to eat here even though I have moved away. We host raids daily, daily giveaways, trading, battles, etc. I guess I've technically been eating there since I was a baby, since I lived in that house for quite sometime. I high recommend to all.Charlotte native, have gone here for several years with friends and family. They have an unbelievably good tofu!!

The lion's den is not open 24/7 - I think from 6am-midnight. Great food at great prices! I can't speak for the American Chinese food, but from the regulars I see coming through, it has to be pretty decent. STOP BY AN CATCH AS MANY AS YOU WANT!
